Coffee breaks
Keep coffee, water and small dishes accessible on separate routes to make the most of the break.
At a conference, breaks set the pace; at an exhibition stand, short serving routes matter. Plan food around the programme, attendee groups and available space. Delivery windows and venue rules must be agreed before the event.

A room of delegates leaving at once creates different demands from an open exhibition stand. Position water, coffee and food so queues do not cross. Include replenishment and used-tableware collection in the break plan.
Break ideas include small filled rolls, vegetable sticks with dip and fruit portions. A longer conference day also needs a substantial lunch, such as a vegetable-and-grain dish alongside a second main option. At a stand, portions must work with available plates, surfaces and conversations.
Check whether outside caterers are permitted and who arranges access, passes, power and water. Supply the hall and stand number and confirmed delivery windows. Delta Catering does not claim a partnership with an exhibition organiser or venue; delivery depends on their approval and date availability.
Food, staff, drinks, delivery and equipment are agreed individually. Only the services in the confirmed proposal are binding.
Prepare your event briefThe venue or organiser decides. Check rules for external suppliers, vehicle access, passes and delivery windows before finalising the menu. A catering plan does not replace any required venue approval.
Separate drinks and food where space allows and plan serving around groups arriving together. Pre-portioned food can help. Determine station numbers and staffing from the space and attendee count.
Provide hall, stand number, headcount and serving times, plus storage space, power, water, tableware and waste rules. Small portions alone do not solve logistics; replenishment and clearing also need space and access.
